What to Expect When Visiting Oakland Baptist Church on Sunday

Visiting a new church for the first time tends to be intimidating -- there’s a lot for visitors to figure out! We want Oakland's visitors to feel at home and at ease when they arrive. When you visit, you will experience great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere.

What’s the service like?

Worship Service is at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings and begins with prayer, announcements, and congregational singing that includes a mix of the traditional hymns and contemporary songs creating a welcome haven in a hurried world. The sermon preached immediately following provides the Biblical application insights necessary to make disciples of Jesus Christ who are growing, connecting, and producing.

How long is the service?

The Worship Service is approximately one (1) hour. There is always time to grab a cup of coffee & donut between worship and Small Groups at 10:45 a.m. You are invited to join us.
